A pale yellow graphic tile with gold text in a navy blue text box that reads ‘Join our Living Experience Reference Group for 2026 to 2027’. The navy blue text underneath the box reads ‘We are looking for people with disability from CALD backgrounds and parents and carers of CALD children with disability. Express your interest via the online form by 6 September 2026. If you need help to complete the form, please email projects@neda.org.au’. An icon of 2 overlapping navy blue speech bubbles with a light bulb symbol inside is in the top right corner. The National Ethnic Disability Alliance logo is in the bottom right corner.

Do you have lived experience as a person with disability from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background? Or are you a parent or carer of a CALD child with disability?

NEDA is looking for people to join our Living Experience Reference Group. The Group will share experiences, ideas, and feedback about issues that affect CALD people with disability.

What members tell us will help inform NEDA’s advocacy, policy, and engagement work.

The Group will have up to 15 members from a range of cultural backgrounds and disability experiences.

Members will take part in 6 online meetings each year.

Meetings will be 2 hours long (plus 30 minutes preparation time) and will usually be held during business hours on weekdays.

There may also be occasional extra meetings.

To join the Group, you must live in Australia.

Members will receive a gift card to thank them for their time and contribution.

To express your interest, please complete the short online form by midnight AEST on the 27th September 2026.

If you need help to complete the form, please email projects@neda.org.au
